Connect WelinkShop to an AI assistant

WelinkShop can access AI Agent through the dedicated Skill, MCP tool capabilities and authorization interfaces. After the connection is completed, AI can assist in processing products, collections, blogs, pages, menus, themes, configuration checks and daily operational tasks within the scope of the current store authorization.

WelinkShop Skill / MCP capability package

The capability package unifies WelinkShop’s connection methods, function descriptions, API calls, operation procedures and security rules for AI use. It is not public Token, nor will it automatically obtain store permissions; AI can only complete the binding after you actively provide the current store's management address and authorization Token.

• Identify management capabilities such as products, collections, blogs, pages, menus, themes, and store configurations.
• Read the corresponding instructions according to the task to avoid guessing the interface or mixing with other stores.
• Perform corresponding checks before overwriting, bulk editing, publishing, and high-risk operations.
• Confirm the domain name, authorization status, and currently available capabilities through a connectivity check.

Step 1: Install AI Agent

First install and complete the basic configuration of AI Agent. It is recommended to use Codex; if you use other AI Agent, please confirm that it can install the local Skill or capability package, and can call the tool according to the instructions in the package. After AI Agent is installed, copy the following Markdown command.

Step 2: Copy the Markdown command and let AI complete the installation

Click "Copy Installation Instructions" and paste the entire content into your AI Agent. The AI will download the capability package, read the SKILL.md, and complete the installation and self-test according to the instructions.

## Task: Install WelinkShop Site Manager v4

Please download and install WelinkShop Skill / MCP capability package:

Installation requirements:
1. Download and unzip the capability package, and first read SKILL.md in the package completely.
2. Follow the instructions in SKILL.md to install the capability package to a location recognized by the current AI Agent.
3. Install the required dependencies and run the self-check or pre-check provided by the capability package.
4. Tell me the installation results after the installation is completed; do not connect, read or modify any stores yet.

Step 3: Copy the connection information from the store backend

After the capability package is successfully installed, log in to your own WelinkShop store backend, enter the open API management, and generate or select the authorization Token for this time. Copy the complete connection information provided by the backend, which should include:

Site manager URL: https://your-store-domain/manager
Token: Your store access token

Different stores must use their own management addresses and Token, and the connection information of other websites cannot be mixed. It is recommended to create a separate revocable Token with minimal permissions for AI.

Step 4: Let AI complete store binding

Replace the real connection information copied in the background into the placeholder position below, and then click Copy and Paste to AI. The first binding only performs a connection check and does not modify the website immediately.

## Task: Bind WelinkShop store

Please use the already installed WelinkShop Site Manager v4 to complete store binding.

The following connection information comes from my store backend:
Site manager URL: Paste the management URL from your store admin here
Token: Paste here the special Token provided by the background

Requirements:
1. Save only the connection configuration and perform pre-checks.
2. Confirm the actually connected store domain name and authorization status.
3. Do not modify products, pages, menus, themes or other store content for the time being.
4. Do not display Token in full when replying.

How to use it after successful connection

• "Read the current menu structure first and give me optimization suggestions. Do not modify it."
• "Check the Help Center for broken links and list items that need to be fixed."
• "Compile the import report for the product and wait for my confirmation before importing."
• "Optimize the homepage in the preview theme and give me the preview address after completing the check."

By stating the goals, scope, language, whether modifications are allowed, and acceptance conditions when proposing a task, AI execution will be clearer.

Token Security Rules

• Token is equivalent to the store management certificate. Do not write it into public web pages, screenshots, group chats or shared files.
• Check the domain name before connecting, and do a read-only check after connecting to avoid operating in other stores.
• When Token is found to be leaked, the user changes or the task ends, the old Token should be revoked.
• Precise goals should be reconfirmed when it comes to deletions, batch overrides, official releases, orders, payments, logistics, and account permissions.

Version update

WelinkShop Site Manager v4 will continue to add capabilities and operational rules. After re-downloading or updating the capability package, the self-test should be run again, and the current store permissions and actual inspection results shall prevail.
